Anne Marie Dragosits - Cembalo, Basso Continuo / Harpsichord, Basso Continuo
Die in Tirol geborene Cembalistin Anne Marie Dragosits lebt in Wien.
Als gefragte Solistin und leidenschaftliche Continuospielerin reist sie mit Ensembles wie vivante, barucco, Barocksolisten München, musica alchemica, l’Arcadia, l’Orfeo Barockorchester oder der neugegründeten Accademia degli Stravaganti durch die Welt. Seit Oktober 2016 ist sie Professorin für Cembalo an der Anton Bruckner-Universität in Linz.
Sie studierte in Wien bei Wolfgang Glüxam und in Den Haag bei Ton Koopman und Tini Mathot, wichtige Impulse für ihr Basso Continuo-Spiel erhielt sie bei Meisterkursen von Lars Ulrik Mortensen und Jesper Christensen.
Ihre besondere Passion gilt der Auseinandersetzung mit historischen Cembali, die mehrere Einspielungen dokumentieren. Ihre aktuelle CD “Le clavecin mythologique” (L’Encelade), aufgenommen auf dem originalen Taskin (1787) im Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg, wurde u.a. mit dem Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik ausgezeichnet.
Anne Marie Dragosits schloss im Dezember 2012 ihr künstlerisches Doktorat über „Giovanni Girolamo Kapsperger (ca.1581-1651): Betrachtungen zu seinem Leben und Umfeld, seiner Vokalmusik und seinem praktischen Material zum Basso continuo-Spiel“ im Rahmen des Programms docARTES in Holland / Belgien ab. Eine Revision des biographischen Teils ist in Arbeit und soll 2019 mit zahlreichen zusätzlichen neuen Informationen in Buchform erscheinen.
Anne Marie Dragosits studied harpsichord with Wolfgang Glüxam at the Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna and with Ton Koopman and Tini Mathot at the Royal Conservatory, The Hague. She has also taken master classes in basso continuo from Lars Ulrik Mortensen and Jesper Christensen.
She regularly performs as a soloist and a continuo player throughout Europe, playing with chamber music formations such as vivante, les sentimens, musica alchemica, Barocksolisten München or l’Arcadia, as well as with orchestras such as barucco, l´Orfeo Barockorchester, Marini Consort Innsbruck and Camerata Salzburg.
Anne Marie Dragosits appears on numerous recordings; her first solo cd with Italian harpsichord music from the seventeenth century was recorded on the original Giusti from 1681 in the Germanisches Nationalmuseum Nürnberg in November 2010. In September 2015 she recorded Froberger on an original Girolamo de Zenti (1658) in England, “avec discretion” was issued in February 2017 with Divox. In early 2019 “Le clavecin mythologique”, French high baroque music inspired by mythological figures, recorded on the original Taskin (1787) in the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg, was issued with the French label L’Encelade.
In December 2012 Anne Marie Dragosits finished her artistic PhD on Giovanni Girolamo Kapsperger and his vocal music in the programme docARTES in Belgium / Holland. A revised version of the biographical part of the thesis with lots of additional new information is to be expected as a book in 2019.
